This is how it all happens...

All of my shoots take place on location using natural light and occasionally some fill flush. I prefer to use your home, yard or other outdoor venue as my studio and backdrop. I invite you to be creative when planning your session and encourage you to consider locations with rich and unique textures for backgrounds. All sessions are held in the early morning or early evening to capture the warm, golden light.

At the beginning of the session I will take the necessary time for everyone (especially the kids) to feel comfortable with me and the camera. If the session is indoors, I will take additional time to find places with the best natural light. A photo session lasts between one to three hours, however, I will stay as long as it takes. After the session, I will spend a large amount of time reviewing, editing and retouching the images. Within two weeks of your session, you will receive your digital proofs via a secure private online gallery which will remain live for 14 days. You can forward your log in and password information to your relatives and friends so they can view and purchase images on their own.
